Keysight 54642D Oscilloscope

The Keysight 54642D is a 2-scope, 500 MHz bandwidth Mixed Signal Oscilloscope from the 54600 Series. It features 16 logic timing channels, 1 GSa/s per channel sample rate, 8 MB interleaved max memory depth, and a vertical resolution of 8 bits. For data acquisition on digital channels, this model offers 1 GSa/s sample rate, 5 ns glitch detection, and a vertical resolution of 1 bit. The unique composition of this model makes it an ideal choice for viewing complex interactions between the signals on up to 18 channels at a time. It is a perfect choice for applications with clock speeds approaching 100 MHz

The Keysight 54642D offers powerful selections for triggering including: CAN, USB, TV, and Pulse Width, etc. It can also trigger on the serial peripheral interface (SPI) during a specific framing period. For USB triggering, it supports both high and low-speed USBs. This model comes with a built-in standard floppy drive, parallel ports, and an RS-232 Serial port as well. 

This oscilloscope incorporates a powerful Front Panel. It comes with a comprehensive display, special trigger controls, an entry knob, auto scale key, intensity control key, file keys and soft keys under the screen for interacting with the elements being displayed. The autoscale mode finds and displays all active digital and analog channels, sets trigger mode on the highest numbered channel, and can also set the vertical sensitivity on analog channels.

The Keysight 54642D can be connected to a Windows-based personal computer with the help of IntuiLink software. The user can get their waveform data and oscilloscope setups downloaded effortlessly to their pcs.
