Keysight Portable Logic Analyzer 16822A

The 16822A is a portable logic analyzer ideal for accurate analysis from Keysight Technologies. This model comes with a built-in split analyzer capability, which helps correlate several buses. It offers single and multi-bus support for timing and state configuration. The 16822A comes with a state analysis capability as well. This model has 64 data channels and 4 clock channels for state analysis. This portable logic analyzer has a 15-inch display with a touchscreen capability. The huge display screen permits the user to view a large number of waveforms and states at once.

The Keysight 16822A comes with a built-in pattern generator with 48 channels. The pattern generator operates with the clock pods, data pods, and lead sets. The pattern generator helps generate patterns and operate the circuit at full speed. It offers many applications, such as patterns for the widest buses in the system. This enables the user to define up to 48 bits wide vectors. It also has the capability to load and run up to 16 M vectors of stimulus, which helps couple with the powerful stimulus generator automation tools. These tools include SynaptiCAD’s WaveFormer and VeriLogger. The 16822A also synchronizes output data with the internal or external clock.  The external clock source is connected through a clock pod. The internal clock range is between 1 MHz and 300 MHz in 1-MHz steps.

The Keysight 16822A provides a data editing capability. It has the ASCII file format to offer connectivity with other tools and to write programs to control the logic analyzer application. The 16822A portable logic analyzer also has the capability to integrate with an oscilloscope, which helps offer signal integrity and simplify analysis.
