HP Agilent 6274B DC Power Supply

The 6274B DC Power Supply manufactured by HP/Agilent utilizes a transistor series regulator, along with a triac preregulator to result in enhanced efficiency, excellent regulation, and low noise and ripple. This model can be used for relay rack operation or on the bench. The 6274B is situated in a 5 ¼ inch high full-rack-width cabinet. The output of this DC Power Supply can be altered from zero to full rated voltage or current in two ways. The first method is to set the coarse and fine voltage and current controls on the front panel. The second method involves programming them remotely through voltage or resistance inputs to the back panel terminals.

The HP Agilent 6274B DC Power Supply has one difference from the other models in the same series, other than technical specifications. The 6274B is forced-air cooled, while the other models are cooled by convection. A useful feature of this model is the remote sensing function. Remote sensing involves linking the voltage regulators’ feedback circuit to the load terminals, instead of to the 6274B’s output terminals.
