Agilent E1403C Active Adapter

The Agilent E1403C is an A/B to C Size, 1-Slot, P1 Active Adapter. This model fits well in 1 or 2-slot modules and comes with a slave-only capability to be used in almost all C-size VXI mainframes. The Agilent E1403C comes with a fully buffered extension called “P1 ". This model can handle an unlimited number of adapter units per mainframe.

This model is an economical choice, since it is quite low compared to similar models. For 10 ^oC rise in temperature, the user requires 10 Liter/sec air flow at 0.2 mm H2O pressure. This model also needs 0.10 A peak module current and 0.01 dynamic module current. The Agilent E1403C provides direct access to the VXIbus/VMEbus modules. It also offers sJ1 connection, with the pin-to-pin arrangement. The Agilent E1403C comes equipped with a comprehensive fuse arrangement to prevent the system against surges. The fuses installed are subminiature 4A, 125V. This Active Adapter from Agilent is offered in two varieties. With this model, the user can have their B-size multiplexers adapted in a C-size mainframe. This arrangement could be arranged utilizing specially designed cables, which are sold separately. The Agilent E1326-61611 Analog Bus Cable is all that the user needs to mount their B-size multiplexer in a C-size adapter. For more complicated applications, multiple numbers of the Agilent E1403C adapters can also be used in an Agilent VXI mainframe.
