    Keysight E4433A Digital RF Signal Generator

    The Keysight E4433A is a 50 kHz to 4000 MHz Digital RF Signal Generator. This model features 2 ms to 60 sec dwell time and comes equipped with an internal reference oscillator. As far as its switching speed is concerned, this Signal Generator offers <45 ms with modulation “on” and <35 with modulation “off” in typical conditions. The Keysight E4433A provides adequate reverse power protection, which actuates at 50 Watts while operating within a range of 250 kHz to 2000 MHz. For frequencies from 2000 MHz to 4000 MHz, it is set at 25 Watts.

    With this model, the user will not observe zero degradation in the power level accuracy while working with constant amplitude formats, such as GSMK, FSK, etc. The E4433A is capable of handling I&Q Inputs at 50 ohms impedance. It has impressive frequency modulation characteristics and offers N x 90 radians maximum deviation with 0.1% resolution of set deviation. The deviation accuracy remains around <± (5% of deviation + 0.01 radians) at 1 kHz rate.

The internal pulse generator of the E4433A can generate at 0.1 Hz to 50 kHz square wave rate, 6 μs to 30 sec pulse period, and 8 μs to 30 pulse width.
