Keysight 83622A Synthesized Sweeper
The Keysight 83622A is a 2 to 20 GHz Synthesized Sweeper with excellent harmonics performance. With this model, the user can achieve harmonics at least 50 dB below the carrier. The 83622A comes with scan modulation capabilities and can be utilized for the simulation of antenna scan patterns. This Synthesized Sweeper has a broad power sweep range of 20 dBm to maximum power, which makes it a viable general-purpose source for frequency conversion, receiver testing, and component testing.
This model can be coupled with any other device or instrument on the interface bus since it comes equipped with a GPIB connector. All GPIB enabled instruments can be connected through GPIB adaptors and cables. The adaptors are to be used as extension devices for instruments with crowded or recessed GPIB connectors. In addition, the Keysight 83622A has an auxiliary interface connector. This connector is a D-subminiature type 25 pin receptacle, which can be used for dual swept signal generator (two-tone) measurement systems.
The Keysight 83622A offers exceptionally flat power to a test port and comes with a user flatness correction feature to compensate for power variations and attenuation. The user can utilize this feature for digital correction of a maximum 801 frequency points in any sweep or frequency mode. The digital correction of up to 1601 points is also possible via GPIB. The Keysight 83622A features a powerful combination of different I/O connectors, such as AUX OUTPUT, FM INPUT, EXT ALC, PULSE INPUT, PULSE SYNC OUT, PULSE VIDEO OUT, etc.
