Keysight 54522A Digitizing Oscilloscope

Featured with an integrated 3.5" disk drive and 2 channels, the Keysight 54522A is a 500 MHz bandwidth digitizing oscilloscope. This model offers 2 GSa/s per channel maximum sample rate and around 33000 pts (maximum) record length or 501 pts (repetitive) record length. The FFT feature incorporated in this model has a frequency range of DC to 1 GHz. The Hewlett Packard 54522A offers 3.9 MHz (minimum) and 0.305 MHz (maximum).

 The 54522A Oscilloscope comes with a key-down powerup function through which the user can reset the instrument to its original configuration simply by holding any front panel key depressed during the cycling of power. The key-down powerup function can also be considered the first step towards loading the instrument’s new operating system through the disk drive. The trigger menu incorporated in this digitizing oscilloscope allows the user to adjust settings for six types of triggers including pattern, safe, and delay.

In its standard configuration, the HP 54522A Oscilloscope is offered with 2 miniature passive probes, a 2.3 meter power cord, and necessary documentation. This oscilloscope weighs around 11.8 kg and its physical dimensions are 218 mm x 440 mm x 367 mm. This model can be operated from either a 115 or 230 Vac source. With this model, the user can choose 1 mohm or 50 mohm input impedance for external trigger and the channels. This model features an auto trigger function as well. The auto trigger function offers an acquisition if there is no other trigger present.
