Description
The National Instruments X Series devices come in three different part numbers: 782256-01, 781442-01, and 782255-01. These devices are designed to offer a versatile range of applications, thanks to their comprehensive specification set.
Each device is capable of supporting 16 single-ended or 8 differential analog input channels, along with 2 analog output channels. This flexibility in analog I/O makes them suitable for a wide range of data acquisition and signal processing tasks.
In addition to the analog capabilities, the X Series devices feature 4 general-purpose counters with 32-bit resolution. These counters are incredibly versatile and can be used for edge counting, pulse, pulse width, semi-period, period, and position measurements (including X1, X2, X4, Channel Z, and Two Pulse Encoding).
For output applications, these devices are not lacking in functionality. They support frequency division, time-equivalent sampling, and pulse train with active updates, making them extremely useful for a broad spectrum of output applications.
The base clock frequency of these devices can reach up to 100 MHz maximum and can go as low as 100 kHz minimum, providing a wide range to accommodate various timing requirements. The input options for counters/timers include Gate, Source, and Aux, giving users ample flexibility in configuring their setups.
Moreover, the X Series devices offer various routing options for inputs, such as analog trigger and internal signals, enhancing their adaptability to different operational needs. The front connector types vary among the models, including VHDCI (for 782256-01), Screw Terminal (for 781442-01), and BNC (for 782255-01), ensuring that connectivity is tailored to specific requirements.
Lastly, the physical dimensions and weight for the mass termination model are 7.3 x 6.8 x 1.4 inches and
