66000A by Agilent is a Modular Power System in the 66000 series. 66000A features a Command Processing Time of 20 ms and a DC floating voltage of ± 240 VDC.

The HP Agilent 66000A Modular Power System has eight slots and can support a maximum of eight DC power modules. The total DC power output of the mainframe is 1200 W and a maximum of 150 W for each module. This Modular Power System can be reconfigured with ease because the modules can be swapped out. Features such as built-in measurements, advanced programmable functions, LIST mode, advanced triggering systems, and swift, low-noise outputs ensure that the 66000A is one of the best of its kind.

The 66000A Modular Power System makes test-system assembly, programming, debugging, cabling, and operation much easier. This model is best for production test and ATE settings because it can provide bias power and stimulus to subassemblies and finished products. The mainframe is only seven inches tall, guaranteeing that rack space will be conserved. A maximum of 16 outputs can be controlled through a single GPIB address by utilizing an auxiliary mainframe. All that is needed to control multiple outputs is a serial link cable, which comes with the 66000A mainframe. Furthermore, applications with a wider range of power stipulations can be linked to a maximum of eight of the 6650, 6640, 6670, 6680, 6030, or 6690 series of system power supplies.

The 66000A Modular Power System also has a feature which permits the user to download a maximum of 20 voltage, dwell-time, and current parameter sets for each output. This pattern can be paced by the set dwell times. Alternatively, triggers can be utilized to step through the output list. The output patterns can then be completed without controllers interfering, which will boost test system throughput.
