The Tektronix 371A Digital Storage Curve Tracer is completely programmable, can perform Kelvin sense measurements, waveform averaging, and waveform comparison, and is equipped with an envelope display. The high voltage collector mode on this digital storage curve tracer enables analysis of the off-characteristics of a device as high as 3,000 volts. The pulsed high current collector mode delivers output current pulses higher than 400 amps peak for assessing on-characteristics. This mode also allows high power analysis as high as 3,000 watts.
The 371A Digital Storage Curve Tracer has three different cursor measurement modes: a dot cursor, window cursor, and function line cursor. The dot cursor delivers direct screen readout for voltage, gm, DC beta, or current at any specified point. The window cursor can be placed amongst two curves to measure tiny signal beta or gm, and can be utilized for visual go/no-go assessments as well. The function line cursor delivers a screen readout for an intercept value or a slope.
