Keysight 6030A DC Power Supply

The Keysight 6030A is an auto ranging GP-IB Power Supply. It utilizes power MOSFETs in a 20 KHz switching converter to provide an acceptable auto ranging output characteristic for research center execution. Output voltage and current are constantly shown on singular meters. LED indicators show the complete working state of the unit. Front-panel controls permit the client to set output voltage, current, and overvoltage protection trip levels. This model includes an Overvoltage Protection (OVP) that protects the load by rapidly interrupting energy transfer if a preset trip voltage is surpassed. Foldback protection is another special security function incorporated in this model. The user can select this feature to incapacitate the energy supply output if the unit switches from Constant Voltage (CV) to Constant Current (CC) mode or vice-versa.

The 6030A can be both a listener and a talker on the GP-IB. Furthermore, this model can be programmed specifically for volts and amps. Power Supply status can be read through the GP-IB and the power supply can be instructed to request service for any ten conditions. Upon command, the Power Supply will estimate its output voltage, output current, or OVP trip voltage and place the value on the GP-IB. New output values can be put on hold triggered later, permitting the controller to synchronize multiple power supplies at one time.

This model has 0 to 200 Vdc, 0 to 17 A, 0.035% + 145 mV of Programming accuracy, 0.01% + 5 mV of Load regulation, and 22 mV / 50 mV of Ripple & noise (rms/p-p). This instrument also incorporates auto ranging output, VXI plug & play drivers, and 47-63 Hz of operation.
