    HP/Agilent 6256B DC Power Supply

    The 6256B DC Power Supply manufactured by HP/Agilent is a constant-voltage/constant-current model, which can be utilized for both relay rack and bench operation. This model fits comfortably in a 5 ¼ inch high full-rack-width cabinet. The 6256B DC Power Supply has an output of 0 to 10 volts at 0 to 20 amps, 1 mV constant voltage resolution, 20 mA constant current resolution, 2 V to 12 V overvoltage protection, and a weight of 35 lbs.

    The outputs on the HP/Agilent 6256B DC Power Supply can be altered from zero to the complete rated voltage or current. The user simply must utilize the coarse and fine voltage and current controls on the front panel. The other option is to program the power supply remotely through resistance or voltage inputs to back panel terminals. If the voltage controls are operated to designate a constant output voltage, then the current controls will create a current limit that can safeguard the load from overcurrent.
