Keysight 6259B HP Agilent DC Power Supply

The Keysight 6259B HP Agilent DC Power Supply has features such as: overvoltage protection, a remote programming and sensing capability, ongoing constant current/voltage processes, and much more. The Keysight 6259B model guarantees the greatest accuracy, regulation, low noise and ripple, and efficient programming speeds. The front panel of the 6259B DC Power Supply contains a crowbar trip point adjustment and an overvoltage indicator. The model is also equipped with a cooling fan to prevent overheating. The recommended operating temperature range is from 0 to 55 degrees C.  The following technical specifications are important to keep in mind when purchasing the Keysight 6259B: the standard input voltage is 230 V ac, the maximum input current is 6 A, and the maximum power is 850 W.

The 6259B DC Power Supply has coarse and fine voltage and current controls, which let the current and voltage outputs differ from zero to the maximum rated value. A piece of information to keep in mind while using certain applications is that auto-parallel, auto-tracking, and auto-series connections will most likely not be comprised of more than three supplies. If they do involve more than three supplies, an HP Field Engineer should be contacted to ensure that is correct.

The Keysight 6259B DC Power Supply also has several options which the user can choose to add, including but not limited to: a Multiprogrammer interface (Option 040), 50 Hz ac input (Option 005), voltage and current programming adjustment (Option 022), and several other options which can change the input voltage on the model.
