The HP Agilent 6269B DC Power Supply is a constant voltage/constant current, full rack width model. This model can be used for relay rack operation or the bench. The 6269B has numerous beneficial features, such as: auto-series, auto-parallel, and auto-tracking operation. This model is analog programmable, has a remote sensing function, and a useful overvoltage protection feature. This DC Power Supply has dimensions of 19 x 6.81 x 18.88 inches and weighs 89 pounds. The load regulation is 0.01% + 200 uV, 0.02% + 2 mA and the line regulation is 0.01% + 200 uV, 0.02% + 2mA. The output ratings are 0 to 40 V, 0 to 50 A, while the model is operating within the 0 to 55 degree Celsius temperature range.

Moderate programming speeds are available on the 6269B DC Power Supply, along with low ripple and noise, and competence. This Power Supply is forced air cooled, like the majority of the others in the series. The ac input connections to this power supply are made at the back panel terminal. Every remote sensing, remote programming, and dc output link is also made at the back panel terminals. Only the positive or negative output terminal of a supply may be grounded one at a time. The other option is for the 6269B DC Power Supply’s output to float a maximum of 300 volts above the ground.

The auto-tracking operation on this model allows two or three power supplies to share one negative output bus. They are interconnected so that the output voltage of every slave supply is maintained at some constant part of that of the master supply.
