6624A by HP Agilent is a DC Power Supply in the 6620A series. 6624A features 4 Outputs and Output 1 and 2 Voltage of 40 W Low Voltage.

The HP Agilent 6624A DC Power Supply has four outputs; two of them are 40 W Low Voltage outputs and the other two are 40 W High Voltage outputs. The output current and voltage for each output can be watched on the front panel display. Error messages related to the outputs are also shown on the front panel display. The front panel keypad permits the user to choose and readback the voltage limit, current limit, and overvoltage trip level of each output. While utilizing the keypad, the user can activate or deactivate outputs, mask and delay bits in the fault register, activate the overcurrent safety feature, adjust overvoltage and overcurrent safety features, and go back to the local functioning style.

The HP Agilent 6624A has a GP-IB interface, through which many functions can be controlled, including: programming syntax error detection, voltage and current programming, activating or deactivating outputs, saving and recalling programmed voltage and current values for each output, current and voltage measurement and readback, and numerous other features. The 6624A DC Power Supply has the option to sense output voltage locally or remotely. Equal outputs can be run in parallel or series combinations for a higher output voltage or output current performance.

One of the most useful features of the HP Agilent 6624A DC Power Supply is that it can be calibrated without the need to take off the cover. It can even remain in the user’s system cabinet for calibration procedures. The power supply can therefore be calibrated at its standard operating temperature. It is suggested to calibrate this model once a year.
