Description
Keysight 6682A DC Power Supply
The Keysight 6682A Power Supply has a DAC read-back circuit and is regulated by the μP to progressively approximate (at a resolution of 12 bits) the quality of every particular monitored signal. The CVPROG and CCPROG signals are utilized throughout the self-test to check the DAC / OpAmp operation. The μP screens the fan velocity and the ambient temperature and generates the control signal FAN_PWM to adjust the fan velocity depending on the ambient temperature measured internally in the power supply. Throughout power initiation, the auxiliary processor generates PWM DISABLE to the power supply's output off for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds, PWM DISABLE may be removed and the supply's output can be programmed.
This model offers a voltage between 0 to 21 V, a current between 0 to 240 A, a Ripple and Nose from 20 Hz to 20 MHz, with a Voltage rms of 1.5 mV, and a Peak-to-Peak of 10 mV.
In this model, every consolidation of energy transformers, T900/T901, and rectifiers, D900/D903, couples the output pulses starting with the A3 FET board. The output for every transformer/rectifier mix is connected in parallel before being applied to the output filter. The output filter assembly consists of bus bars with the filter capacitors bolted on them. The filter chokes, L902 through L906, consists of ferrite cores encasing the bus bar. The current-sense resistor, R900, is part of the positive-output bus bar.
