Keysight 83558A Millimeter-Wave Source Module

The Keysight 83558A is an accurate millimeter-wave source module designed by Keysight. This model has a frequency range from 75 to 110 GHz. The 83558A has the capability of translating a 50 mW (+17 dBm) microwave signal to a millimeter wave signal, which helps to provide the user with a cost-effective solution.  This model also offers harmonic and sub harmonic suppression of <-20 dBc, along with a high dynamic range.

The Keysight 83558A has many capabilities and useful features, including a sweep oscillator. The sweep oscillator helps to drive the source module without an external amplifier. This model is also an excellent and low-cost sweep source. It displays both the frequency and the power levels at the module output. The 83558A can serve as LO’s in mixer measurements, which enables a high dynamic range for insertion loss/gain measurements.  This millimeter-wave source module can provide the output power level of the test device, which helps when configuring the V and W band measurement systems. This model can also perform scalar network analysis and broadband scalar measurements.
