Description
Tektronix AWG5002C Arbitrary Waveform Generator
Featured with a 10.0000 MS/s to 0.6000 GS/s Clock Generator, the AWG5002C is an Arbitrary Waveform Generator from the AWG5000C Series by Tektronix. This model can operate in a triggering range of 1.0 μs to 10.0 s at 0.1 μs resolution (minimum). The AWG5002C can be operated in four modes: Continuous Mode, Triggered Mode, Gated Mode, and Sequence Mode.
This model comes with a BNC connector on the front panel to receive the analog input and provides (+) and (–) complementary output at 50 Ω output impedance. In normal mode, this instrument offers a range of 20 mV to 4.5 Vp-p, whereas it offers 20 mV to 0.6 Vp-p in direct output mode. The Tektronix AWG5002C has 28 optional digital output channels enriched with high-resolution edge placement, thus it is an ideal solution for applications where digital signal generation is required, such as ADC/DAC testing.
The Tektronix AWG5002C offers reasonable SFDR over modulation bandwidths up to 180 MHz, complementing the demands of IF and IQ signals generation. This model works great with the RFXpress (RFX100) software package. With the help of this Tektronix proprietary software program, users can utilize the raw AWG performance to create RF signals. This software comes with a wide range of modulation schemes and it is flexible enough to generate propriety or generic signals for digital communication signals. The AWG5012C is a Windows 7 based instrument and features a 300 GB Solid State Drive, as well as a 4 GB memory CD/DVD drive mounted on the front panel.
