JDSU CLI-1450 Combination Signal Level/Leakage Meter

The JDSU CLI-1450 is a 45 to 559 MHz, Portable, Combination Signal Level Meter. This model comes with a broad range of measurement capabilities. Thus, it is considered a viable measurement instrument in a variety of applications. The JDSU CLI-1450 is an excellent choice available for installers since it offers an icon-based user-interface. Also, this instrument can easily be carried because it only weighs around 1.3 kg. The CLI-1450 is a battery-operated instrument. The battery provided can keep this instrument running for approximately 2.25 hours while operating continuously.

With this model, the user can perform level measurements within a range of -20 to 50 dBmV at 0.1 dB resolution. The scan mode of this meter allows the user to scan 120 channels at a scan rate of approximately 6 carriers/second. This instrument from JDSU features a mode called Frequency Agile Leakage Mode to assist the user in quickly finding and fixing signal leakage sources. Besides this, while operating in the Ingress Scan mode, the CLI-1450 helps the user identify ingression related issues. To measure Digital TV, Cable Modem, DVB, and other on-cable services, this model comes equipped with a DigiCheck™ Digital Signal Measurement Function.

For storing, viewing, and printing signal level measurements, the user can efficiently utilize the StealthWare™ software program. To certify that the home network and network termination are within specification or for compliance data, the user can have an auto-test performed through the CLI-1450. This meter is designed for outdoor operations, with batteries that can easily be replaced in the field.
