Alber CRT-400 Cell Resistance Tester

The CRT-400 is a portable Cell Resistance Tester. This device has been manufactured by Alber Corporation. The CRT-400 can measure several parameters. It is used to test the internal resistance and float voltage for a cell, as well as the resistive impedance of intercell connections. The CRT-400 Cellcorder also incorporates a USB port. A flash drive is also provided with the CRT-400 Alber. Thus, engineers can easily record and transfer results into a computer. This model is also equipped with an LCD, so accurate and digital values can be checked instantly. The CRT-400 is compatible with Alber Battery Analysis Software. The test results can be loaded and analyzed in this software to check the battery’s health status.

The Alber CRT-400 Cell Resistance Tester is designed to meet IEEE standards. This model has the input range of 2 V to 16V. The corresponding current range of the Cellcorder CRT 400 is from 50 A to 5 A. This model also has a graphical LCD for display. The resolution of the LCD is 128 x 64. A white LED is used in the CRT-400 as the backlight of the display. The CRT-400 requires a 4-cell Li-ion battery. The battery rating is 8800 mAH. The battery gets fully charged in 8 hours. An AC adaptor is also available for the CRT-400. The voltage value for the input to adapter is 90 – 264 VAC. The frequency is 47 – 63 Hz. The output of the AC adapter is 5 VDC with 4 A current.

The CRT-400 Cell Resistance Tester supports wireless communication. It can interface with a PC through infrared to transfer data. The CRT-400 also supports physical IrDA compliance to interface with a printer.
