The HP Agilent E3630A is an affordable, benchtop, non-programmable DC Power Supply. The E3630A has numerous supplies in a single model, which helps the user conserve bench space. This DC Power Supply has an individual digital panel meter to enable the user to watch the voltage and current at the same time. The digital panel meter will also act as a safeguard for the DUT to prevent short-circuit and overload damage. This model has three DC outputs: 1) 0 to 6 V, 0 to 2.5 A; 2) 0 to +20 V, 0 to 0.5 A; and 3) 0 to -20 V, 0 to 0.5 A. The maximum power is 35 W.

The E3630A DC Power Supply has an auto-tracking capability that allows the user to utilize a single voltage control to alter the +20 V and %20 V outputs at the same time. The outputs track each other to within 1 percent, which ensures that it is simple to alter the E3630A for circuits which need balanced voltages. Other useful features of this DC Power Supply include: a 0.01 percent line and load regulation, a low noise specification of lower than 0.35 mV, and turn-on and turn-off transitions.

The HP Agilent E3630A DC Power Supply has a few options available as well. These include several different power options: Option 0E3) 230 Vac ± 10%, Option 0EM) 115 Vac ± 10%, and Option 0E9) 100 Vac ± 10%. The last option for this model is Option UK6, which is a commercial calibration certificate that includes test result information.
