Description
Keysight E3647A DC Power Supply
The Keysight E3647A DC Power Supply has a constant voltage. Therefore, the voltage stays constant despite any progress in the output current needed by the load. The constant current power supply exhibits a limitless output impedance at all the frequencies. The constant current power supply might suit a load resistance current at a constant value. The output of this power supply can work in either the Constant Voltage (CV) mode or Constant Current (CC) mode. Under certain deficiency conditions, the power supply might not work in either the CV or CC mode and can become unregulated.
If the E3647A goes into a mode of operation that is not CV or CC, the power supply will be unregulated. In this mode, the output is not predictable. The unregulated condition might be the result of the AC line voltage below specifications. The unregulated state might happen momentarily. For example, when the output is programmed for an extensive voltage step, the output capacitor or an extensive capacitive load will charge at the current limit setting. Throughout the increase of the output voltage, the power supply will be in the unregulated mode.
An ideal power supply incorporates a DC output with no signals across the terminals from the terminals to earth ground. The genuine power supply has finite noise over the output terminals and a finite current will flow through every impedance associated from either terminal to earth ground.
