Keysight E3648A DC Power Supply

Keysight E3648A DC Power Supply includes a feature so that every time the user turns on their Power Supply, a set of Self-tests are carried out. These tests confirm that the minimum set of logic and estimation hardware are working effectively. Faults throughout ignition self-test utilize the error codes, the ignition self-test uses full self-test, covering from error codes 601 through 633.

The E3648A has a complete self-test function also; the user can hold any front board key, except the view key, for more than 5 seconds at the same time they turn on the power to perform a complete self- test. The power supply beeps when the test begins.

To accomplish the best results when estimating load regulation, peak-to-top voltage, and transient reaction time of the power supply, estimating gadgets must be associated through the hole in the neck of the binding post at the same time the load resistor is plugged into the front of the output terminals. An estimation made over the load incorporates the impedance of the leads to the load. The impedance of the load leads can easily be several orders of the magnitude superior than the power supply impedance and thus invalidate the estimation. To avoid mutual coupling effects, every estimation gadget must be associated directly to the output terminals by separate pairs of leads.

This model has one range with a voltage between 0 to 8 V and a current of 5 A and another range with a voltage between 0 to 20 V and a current of 2.5 A.
