Description
Keysight E4400B Analog RF Signal Generator
Featured with 1 ms to 60 s Dwell Time, 2 to 401 Number of Points, and 250 kHz to 1 GHz Frequency Range, the Keysight E4400B is an Analog Frequency Generator from the ESG-A series. This model comes with robust modulation capabilities, including AM, FM, and pulse modulation. By design, the ESG-A series consists of portable equipment that can be mounted in 5-inch rack space. This frequency generator comes with IntuiLink PC software.
The Keysight E4400B offers excellent level accuracy of ±0.5 dB (>–127 dBm, fc <2 GHz) and ±0.9 dB (fc >2 GHz) to provide the user with unmatched performance, while keeping the test uncertainty at a minimum. This model’s attenuator is capable of handling continuous output-power cycling even with repeatable results up to 4 GHz. With up to 10 MHz rates and 40 MHz FM deviations, the Keysight E4400B meets a broad range of measurement requirements.
This model comes with an RF output (type-N female) designed to operate at 50 ohms nominal output impedance. An LF output (BNC) is also provided on the front panel, which is used to output the internally-generated LF source. To drive either AM, FM, ΦM, pulse, or burst envelope, the External input 1 and External input 2 connectors are provided on the front panel (type: BNC). A 9-pin RS-232 Connector female auxiliary interface is also available on the rear panel, which can be used with the 83300A remote keypad sequencer. The Keysight E4400B is designed to receive a 10 MHz ±10 ppm reference signal, while operating with an external time base.
