Description
Fluke 1587 Insulation Multimeter
The Fluke 1587 offers a large display with a backlight, insulation test voltages (50 V, 100 V, 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V) for many applications, a live circuit detection that prevents insulation test if voltage > 30 V is detected for added user protection, an auto-discharge of capacitive voltage for added user protection, a filter for motor drive measurements, and an AC/DC voltage with DC milliVolts, AC/DC milliamps, Resistance (Ω), and Continuity.
The Fluke 1587 consolidates a digital insulation analyzer with a full-highlighted, genuine rms advanced multimeter in a single minimal, handheld unit, which gives the most maximum versatility for both troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Like different tools that the user has seen from Fluke, the 1587 is tough, solid, and simple to utilize. Regardless of whether the user deals with engines, generators, cables, or switch-gear, the Fluke 1587 is preferably suited to help the user with their tasks.
This meter meets CAT III and CAT IV IEC 61010 standards. The IEC 61010 standard characterizes four estimation classifications (CAT I to IV) based on the magnitude of danger from transient impulses. CAT III meters are intended to ensure against transients in Fixed equipment installations at the distribution level; CAT IV meters are intended to protect against transients from the essential supply level (overhead or underground utility service).
To caution the user of the nearness of a conceivably risky voltage, when the Fluke Meter identifies a voltage ≥ 30 V or a voltage over-load (OL), the Z image is shown.
