Description
Fluke 5720A Multifunction Calibrator
The Fluke 5720A is a precise instrument designed to maintain accuracy over an extensive ambient temperature range. With this model, the user can successfully calibrate various precision multimeters that measure dc or ac voltage, current, or resistance. The Fluke 5720A is a fully programmable precision source capable of providing a maximum 1100 V DC voltage and up to 1100 V, AC Voltage, with a variable output from 10 Hz to 1.2 MHz.
This model can also be used as a source for a maximum 2.2 Amperes AC and DC with available output from 10 Hz to 10 kHz. In addition, the Fluke 5720A Multifunction Calibrator can be used as a resistance source, since it offers resistance to values of 1x10n and 1.9x10n from 1 Ω to 100 MΩ. This model comes with multiple interfaces, which includes: phase lock-in (BNC), IEEE-488, phase reference out (BNC), and RS-232. The Fluke 5720A Multifunction Calibrator also features an auxiliary current binding post. This post allows the user to calibrate instruments or meters with seep rate current inputs without any requirement of moving cables.
For data stamping of reports, there is an integrated real-time clock and calendar provided as well. The Fluke 5720A Multifunction Calibrator is designed to operate in compliance with EIA Standards. Thus, the RS-232C serial data interface can be utilized for remote control of the Multifunction Calibrator. The interface can additionally be used for displaying, transferring, or printing internally-stored data, such as calibration constants.
