Description

Fluke Meter 789 ProcessMeter

The Fluke 789 ProcessMeter offers a 24-volt loop power, an improved backlighting with 2 levels of brightness, 0 to 100% buttons for quick checks, an infrared port to process data using FlukeView software (V 2.1), a large double screen, an MA source with excitation capability up to 1200 ohms, configuration for HART mode with loop power, a built-in 250-ohm resistor, and fuses with access from the outside to facilitate replacement.

The Fluke 789 is the most innovative troubleshooting apparatus for circuit testers and instrumentation experts, mixing the usefulness of a loop calibrator with the power of a digital multimeter. By outfitting the 789 with a temperature estimation module and the wireless data logging capability of Fluke Connect® with the ShareLive ™ video call feature (sold independently), process specialists can accomplish considerably more with the possibility of transporting significantly less. Additionally, this model has an implicit, selectable, 250-ohm HART® resistor, which eliminates the need to carry an extra resistor.

When the rotary capacity switch is in the OUTPUT, the mA position, and the OUTPUT jacks are associated with a proper load, the meter delivers an enduring mA dc output. The meter starts sourcing or simulating 0 %. The user can utilize the pushbuttons to alter the current and select either sourcing or reenacting by picking the SOURCE or SIMULATE output jacks. If the meter cannot deliver the modified current in light of the fact that the load resistance is too high or the loop supply voltage is too low, dashes (- -) show up on the numeric display. When the impedance between the SOURCE jacks is sufficiently low, the meter will continue sourcing.
