GW Instek GSP-830 Spectrum Analyzer

Featured with a 6.4" TFT Color LCD and sequence programming functionality, the GW Instek GSP-830 is a 3 GHz Spectrum Analyzer. This model has an excellent -152dBm/Hz noise floor and can achieve -172dBm/Hz with the optional GAP-802 preamplifier. This low noise floor makes the GSP-830 capable of trace detection. This model comes with a USB host/device interface and RS232C interface for remote control, monitoring, and analysis. This model can be programmed to act as an automatic spectrum analyzer to eliminate the need for an additional external computer.

With the GSP-830, the user can have Macros stated through the front panel keypad. Another remarkable feature of the GW Instek GSP-830 is the ease of portability. This model comes equipped with two sets of Li-ion batteries, which enables it to operate for over three hours. In addition, the GSP-830 can be operated with the help of a 12-volt power supply or via a standard automobile cigarette lighter. Weighing around 6 kg., this model is an appropriate tool for field service engineers.

While operating in split-window, this model allows parallel monitoring of two diverse frequency bands on same display. Thus, the split window mode is something which enables the GSP-830 act like two different instruments packed into a single unit. With this model, the user can have the instrument`s image sent directly to an external monitor through the VGA port provided on the rear side. The GW Instek GSP-830 offers 10 Hz to 1 MHz video bandwidth range in 1-3 steps and can be triggered in three different modes: single, normal, and continuous.
