In fact, it also offers a wide range of functions not provided on DMM’s typically. For even greater flexibility, there is a card slot provided on the back panel of the Keithley 2001. This slot can be used for the installation of an additional multiplexer card. This DMM has a measurement range of 0.1 µV–1000 V for DC and 0.1 µV–750 V for AC volts. The DC and AC amps measurement ranges are 10 nA–3 A and 1 µA–3 A respectively.

This model`s resolution is based on a A/D converter. Thus, it can operate with a better dynamic range avoiding range-shift related errors and delays.
