Keithley 2460 Source Measure Unit

Featured with the combination of a capacitive touchscreen and an innovative graphical user interface, the 2460 is a Source Measure Unit (SMU) from Keithley. With 7A pulse current and DC capability, the 2460 is an ideal choice for testing and characterizing high power materials, modules, and devices such as gallium nitride (GaN), silicon carbide (SiC), DC-DC power converters, solar cells, panels, power MOSFETs, lighting systems, LEDs, and much more. The Keithley 2460 offers a broad coverage as high as 105V and 100W. This model`s primary display device is a 5" touchscreen with an integrated context-sensitive help function.

The front panel input connectors on this SMU are banana jacks. There are also mass termination screw connections on the back panel. For easy transferring of test scripts, data, and test configurations, the Keithley 2460 come equipped with a front-panel USB 2.0 I/O port. This SMU provides a flexible 4th quadrant voltage and a current load coupled with precision grade measurements for voltage and current. This all-in-one type of instrument offers the user the capabilities of a true current source, digital multimeter, precision electronic load, trigger controller, and a V and I read back capable precision power supply.

The Keithley 2460 has a comprehensive range of built-in connectivity interfaces.  The back panel contains USB 2.0, GPIB, and LXI/Ethernet ports. Also, a digital, D-sub 9-pin I/O port, TSP-Link®, and instrument interlock ports are provided on the back panel. This model features a plotting window through which the user can have raw data and displays converted into useful information immediately.
