Keithley 7013-C Switch Card

The Keithley 7013-C is a 20-Channel Isolated Switch Card. This model features 20 Independent 2-pole switches creating 20 channels that can be connected independently in a broad range of configurations. Isolated switch arrangement offered by this Switch Card offers great flexibility as the switches can be closed or opened as required. The Keithley 7013-C comes equipped with 96-pin DIN connectors which are designed to last 10⁸ closures in cold switching and 10⁵ closures at maximum allowed signal levels.

The assembly of this model consists of a relay card and a multi-pin connector. The 96-pin DIN, male connector is used for external test circuit connections. In addition, there are numerous optional accessories compatible with this model that can be utilized for connections to the card, including the following connector kit and cable: the 7011-KIT-R and 7011-MTC-2.

By actuating two or more relays of the Keithley 7013-C in parallel, the user can achieve various multiple pole configurations as well. This includes the construction of a 4PST switch system which requires two relay channels. When two relays are energized, both loads are selected and each additional relay brings two more poles to the switch system. Multiple pole switching becomes more convenient with two Keithley 7013-C Switch Cards with one plugged in Slot # 1 and the other one in Slot # 2 of the mainframe. In this arrangement, the user can utilize the card-pairing feature of the mainframe, since closing a channel on card 1 will result in the closing of the corresponding channel on card 2.
