Anritsu MP1652A Pulse Pattern Generator

The Anritsu MP1652A Pulse Pattern Generator has a frequency range between 50 MHZ to 3 GHz. This model has an IEEE Std. 488.2 GP-IB (General Purpose Interface Bus) where control commands are similar to the common commands defined by IEEE Std. 488.2. The standard event status byte uses only the necessary functions. In addition to the programmable pattern setting, the set pattern and set parameter info can be saved to read from a floppy disk.

This pulse pattern generator offers amplitudes and offsets of 4 data outputs with 114 speed of main clock signals that can be set, high quality waveform, generation of PRBS patterns with bit length form Z7-1 to Z3-1 bits, Low FM/PM noise clock generator, complementary outputs (data and clock), and 8 Mbit of programmable patter.

In the MP1652A model, the amplitude of the clock and data signals can change from 0.5 to 2 Vp-p. At the same time, the offset can be calibrated to within +/- 2 V. The clock has a delay function. This means that the phase margins and time related features of the input clock and data can be estimated for any other unit. This instrument is perfect for investigation and development of high speed logic ICS and digital systems. This model can also be used in combination with the MP1653A Error Detector.
