The MS2711 Spectrum Master Handheld Spectrum Analyzer by Anritsu is created for field use in applications such as: DCS/PCS, paging/messaging, cellular, and WLAN/WPBX. This model weighs only 4 lbs., is durable and easily portable, and built to withstand harsh field environments. This model can be operated with a 12.5 Vdc source AC-DC adapter or cigarette lighter adapter for a vehicle, which will charge the battery at the same time. The MS2711 has a frequency range from 100 kHz to 3.0 GHz, a resolution bandwidth from 10 kHz to 1 MHz, a sweep time of 0.5 seconds, and a dynamic range ≥60 dB.
The Anritsu MS2711 has the ability to save data swiftly and can download it to a PC or printer through an RS-232 serial cable. The RF-232 interface can be used with a notebook computer for automatic control and gathering data in the field. A modem can be used for far-off operation as well. A maximum of ten test setups and 200 measurement traces can be saved in non-volatile memory. Another feature of the MS2711 Handheld Spectrum Analyzer is the 2.5 hour battery life. The battery can be replaced while in the field. There is a built-in energy saving function that can prolong battery life as well.
The Anritsu MS2711 Spectrum Master makes it easy for field engineers and technicians to travel from site-to-site and save, resolve, and spot issues without losing measurement preciseness. Multiple options are available for the MS2711, such as an internal tracking generator (option 20) and an internal RF Power monitor (option 5).
