The Spectrum Master series by Anritsu is full of the quality features that you would expect from Anritsu, the inventors of the handheld spectrum analyzer. With an Anritsu spectrum analyzer, you can measure such things as field strength, occupied bandwidth, channel power, ACPR, emissions mask, spurious emissions, C/I, and AM/FM/SSB demodulation. Items in the Spectrum Master series are designed for field use, as they are small and compact by nature. This, coupled with Anritsu’s world-class spectrum monitoring capabilities make for a truly robust tool.
The MS2721A Spectrum Master is a Handheld Spectrum Analyzer designed by Anritsu, which has a frequency range from 100 kHz to 7.1 GHz. This Spectrum Analyzer will provide wireless professionals with the high-performing model they need for measurements in extreme physical and RF environments. The Anritsu MS2721A is ideal for WiFi and WiFi5 installation and testing, spectrum monitoring, RF and microwave signal measurements, and cellular signal measurements. The model has a Type N female RF connector and BNC female connectors for external trigger and external reference.
The MS2721A Spectrum Analyzer has a battery life of three hours, weighs approximately 6.9 pounds, has extremely low phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz Maximum at 10 kHz offset at 100 kHz to 7.1 GHz), a 65 dB Step Attenuator, and 10 Hz to 3 MHz RBW range. This model has an 8 inch bright, daylight-viewable color transmissive LCD.
Standard measurements for the MS2721A include: transmit spectrum analysis, in-band interference, cell site, and 802.11 a/b/g interference testing. The MS2721A comes equipped with Anritsu Master Software Tools, which is a PC-based software program. Anritsu Master Software Tools saves measurement data. It can also transform the Spectrum Master display screen into a variety of graphic formats. A maximum of 1,000 traces and 1,000 measurement setups can be saved in the internal memory, with the option to utilize a removable flash drive for additional storage. The flash drive has to be at least 64 MB to store the complete contents of the internal flash memory.
