Keysight N5762A DC Power Supply

The Keysight N5762A is a Single Output, DC Power Supply designed to supply 0 – 8V, 0 – 165A and 1320W (Maximum). It is a compact 1U package, ideal for a variety of primary and enhanced applications. This model features a robust front panel with knobs for easy Voltage and Current regulation, a dedicated, bright LED display for operating parameters, six buttons to control OVP, etc.

This power supply comes with integrated voltage and current measurements. It accepts a universal AC input in the range of 85 VAC to 265 VAC and the frequency range is 47 Hz to 63 Hz. The input current requirement of this power supply is 10.5 A and 5 A at 100 and 200 VAC nominal voltage respectively. It also has a robust protection mechanism available for the prevention of delicate circuits under testing.

For local and remote sense connections, a J2 connector is provided with an incorporated removable plug which makes it easy to make wire connections. With local sensing, the output voltage adjustment is made at the output terminal. No compensation for load wires voltage drop is made. However, for more critical loads, remote sensing allows the power supply to compensate for the voltage drop in the load leads.

As far as the interface liabilities are concerned, the Keysight N5762A is a robust supply with LXI, SCPI – 1993, and IEEE 488.2 Compliance. For simple communications with other instruments, it also has USB 2.0 and 10/100 LAN ports. An analog programming connector is also provided for output current and voltage programming. This connector can also be used for monitoring signals.
