Description
The National Instruments PCI-5122EX Digitizer is a high-resolution, oscilloscope device that offers a range of features for advanced signal analysis. Manufactured by National Instruments, this device includes two analog input channels with BNC connectors for secure and reliable physical connections.
Users have the flexibility to select from AC, DC, or GND input coupling options, adjustable via software to suit various signal types. The input impedance can be set to either 50 Ω ± 2.0% or 1 MΩ ± 0.75%, complemented by a parallel 29 pF capacitor, ensuring accurate signal representation.
With a 14-bit resolution, the PCI-5122EX captures precise signal details and employs a 20 MHz 2-pole Bessel filter to effectively reduce noise, enhancing the clarity of measurements. It offers two types of sample clock sources: an internal VCXO and an external CLK IN, providing versatility for timing the acquisition of samples.
The device’s internal sampling rate covers a wide range from 1.526 kS/sec to 100 MS/sec, while the external clock frequency range spans 30 – 105 MHz, utilizing an SMB connector for external timing signals. Additionally, it features a bidirectional AUX I/O channel with a mini-circular DIN connector, supporting a maximum frequency of 25 MHz, further extending the device’s integration capabilities.
