PRT PRM400-PRR400V Switching Power Supply

With an ability to provide 400W maximum output power, the PRT PRM400 PRR400V is a Switching Power Supply. This model can be operated at a power input of 200-240V 8A (50/60Hz). The PRM400 PRR400V comes equipped with a highly efficient protection scheme. The Power Supply will go into protection mode or shutdown in case of abnormal conditions, such as over temperature, voltage, and current. This model has a built-in inrush current suppressor as well. This current suppressor prevents damages because of high inrush currents the unit encounters when it is powered-on.

To minimize the unwanted impact of the generated EMI, this model comes equipped with an EMI filter as well. The PRT PRM400 PRR400V supports a variety of motherboards, including but not limited to, the EPS-12V Xeon, ATX V2.3, and i7 motherboards. For advanced graphics cards, it includes 6+2 and PCI-E 6 connectors. For optimum temperature controlling, this Power Supply comes with an automatic fan speed controller. The thermal fan speed control detects the amount of heat generated by the machine and adjusts the fan speed accordingly.

This Power Supply has an active PFC function as well. With this function, the Power Supply detects the differences of wattage required to power up the system. Thus, the PRT PRM400 PRR400V will maintain the most suitable level of energy needed for the smooth operation of the user’s system. This model has an on/off switch available on the back side. An LED is also provided to indicate whether it is energized or not.
