GW Instek PSW 160-21.6 DC Power Supply

Featured with 1080W output power rating, 160V voltage rating, and an adjustable slew rate, the PSW160-21.6 is a DC switching, programmable, multi-range Power Supply from GW Instek. This model offers constant power output and supports multiple range (voltage and current) operation. The CV/CC priority is a useful feature of the PSW160-21.6 and makes it an excellent choice for LEDs and the battery industry.

The multi-range functionality of this Power Supply allows efficient and flexible configuration of current and voltage within the rated power output range. The user can connect as many as two PSW160-21.6 units in series or three units in parallel. Thus, this single-output Power Supply can also be considered for a broad range of higher current and higher voltage applications.

With the adjustable slew rate, the user can set either output current or output voltage at a predefined rise time at the low level to high level transition and a fall time at the high level to low level transition. This controllable slew rate functionality is quite helpful for the characteristic verification of a device-under-test (DUT).

This Power Supply has the following accessories available for purchase: a standard power cord, a GTL-240 Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable, an output terminal cover, GTL-123 test leads, and a basic accessory kit. This Power Supply comes with integrated protection functions since it offers 10% to 100% overvoltage and overcurrent protection of its rated voltage and current range. The PSW160-21.6 comes equipped with USB and LAN communication interfaces and requires 85 to 265 VAC power source at 50/60 Hz.
