Description
The National Instruments PXI-1409, with part number 778336-01, features four configurable control lines designed to generate precise timing signals essential for camera acquisition. It supports up to four video sources and includes four external I/O lines that can be utilized as triggers or for digital input/output purposes.
An advanced channel is available on the device to remove chrominance from composite color video signals complying with both PAL and NTSC standards. The PXI-1409 processes signals through a 1,024 x 10-bit Lookup Table (LUT), allowing the implementation of image operations such as contrast enhancement, gamma correction, or other custom transfer functions.
This IMAQ device boasts an onboard memory of 16 MB SDRAM and is equipped with three independent direct memory access (DMA) controllers that support scatter-gather DMA, enabling efficient data transfers to the system memory.
The integrated genlock circuit is capable of syncing with standard RS-170/NTSC and CCIR/PAL video signals, as well as generating progressive scan and VGA resolution signals. The PXI-1409 is designed for seamless integration with the NI-IMAQ driver software and is compatible with various programming environments, including LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and Microsoft Visual Basic.
With a lightweight build of just 0.38 lb and compact dimensions of 3.9 x 6.3 inches, the PXI-1409 operates efficiently within a temperature range of 0 °C to 55 °C, making it a versatile and reliable choice for various imaging applications.
