Description
The National Instruments PXI-6259 PXI Multifunction I/O Module is a versatile data acquisition card featuring 16 differential or 32 single-ended analog input channels with a 16-bit resolution and a sampling rate of 1.25 MS/s, along with 48 digital I/O channels, and 4 analog output channels. The module’s part numbers are 779632-01 and 191325F-01L.
It encompasses additional features such as correlated digital I/O, two 32-bit timers/counters, and is equipped with NI-MCal calibration technology to enhance measurement accuracy. The onboard NI-PGIA 2 amplifier ensures precise signal amplification, while the module’s timing accuracy can reach up to 50 ppm.
With six DMA channels, the PXI-6259 ensures high-speed data transfers, and it supports both analog and digital triggering. Users can benefit from seven programmable input ranges per channel and the flexibility to handle X1, X2, or X4 quadrature encoder inputs. The module can operate with a maximum voltage of ±11 V relative to AI GND.
