Description
The National Instruments PXIe-5605 RF Signal Downconverter Module is a versatile device with a broad frequency range from 20 Hz to 14 GHz, compatible with PXIe-5665 RF Vector Signal Analyzer, PXIe-5653 Analog Signal Generator, and PXIe-5622 IF Digitizer. It boasts an impressive average noise level up to -165 dBm/Hz at a 1 GHz carrier frequency and features a phase noise of -129 dBc/Hz.
The module allows for both automatic IF filtering control with NI-RFSA software and manual tuning, catering to different user needs. It supports three types of IF bandpass filters—5 MHz, 300 kHz, and Through, providing flexibility in signal processing. The Through IP bandpass filter offers an 80 MHz nominal bandwidth at -6 dB and a 47 MHz typical bandwidth with the pre-selector enabled, while the 5 MHz and 300 kHz filters provide nominal bandwidths at -3 dB, with nominal output IF frequencies of 190 MHz and 199 MHz respectively.
Connectivity is facilitated through a variety of connectors including RF IN, IF OUT, and multiple LO inputs and outputs, ensuring seamless integration into various test setups.
