The SDA-5000 Stealth Digital Analyzer was created by JDSU, Wavetek, and Acterna and is a perfect single box solution for technicians and engineers. This Stealth Digital Analyzer is well-suited for assessing the newest digital services and for the upkeep of the analog spectrum. Several of the most valuable features of the SDA-5000 include: the non-interfering forward RF sweep, automatic/24-hour assessment (FCC and CENELEC compliance), swift spectrum display with CTB/CSO, in-service carrier-to-noise and hum, and numerous others.

The JDSU SDA-5000 permits a single person to complete both forward and reverse path alignment at the same time. The user must designate the screen that should be displayed: the reaction from the headend to the testpoint or the reaction from the testpoint to the headend. This feature permits reverse path noise testing when the user presses the “noise” softkey during the reverse sweeping function.
