Tektronix TDS1001 Digital Storage Oscilloscope

The Tektronix TDS1001 is a 2-Channel, 40 MHz Bandwidth Digital Storage Oscilloscope and features a sample rate of 1.0 GS/s. It is an affordable model that can provide accurate real-time acquisition up to its maximum bandwidth. It comes with 11 programmed measurements and advanced triggers to isolate signals of interest. This model can be considered for a variety of applications, including but not limited to, service and repair, education and training, and design and debug.

This oscilloscope offers a record length of 2.5 K and ±3% DC vertical accuracy. It supports all three AC, DC, and GND input coupling types. This model can operate at 1 MΩ (in parallel with 20 pF) input impedance. The TDS1001 can trigger on CH1, CH2, Ext, Ext/5 and AC Lines as well.

The Tektronix TDS1001 Digital Storage Oscilloscope has a 1/4 Mono VGA LCD display screen. With this model, the user can expand or compress a live or isolated waveform horizontally. The trigger view can be used to display trigger signals with the trigger view button in depressed position. It can also store two 2500 point reference waveforms in its nonvolatile storage and save up to 10 front panel setups.  

When purchased in its standard configuration, this model is provided with 200 MHz passive probes (one per channel). However, it supports a variety of other probes and the AM503S (AC/DC Current Probe System) as well. For quick and easy communication between the instrument and your Windows-based personal computer or workstation, this model is fully compatible with TDSPCS1 OpenChoice®, a PC communication software suite with various programs.
