Tektronix TDS2014 Digital Storage Oscilloscope

The Tektronix TDS2014 Digital Storage Oscilloscope is ideal for applications such as design and debug, service and repair, manufacturing test and quality control, and education and training. A few of the features of this model are: the autoset menu with waveform selection, 11 automatic measurements, advanced trigger options, dual time base, waveform and setup memories, and FFT standard. The 11 automated measurements include: Rise Time, Fall Time, Max, Min, Peak-to-Peak, Mean, Cycle RMS, Period, Frequency, +Width, and -Width. The Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) feature enables the user to assess, troubleshoot, and characterize circuits by looking at signal strength and frequency.

The Tektronix TDS2014 has the following technical specifications: a bandwidth of 100 MHz, 4 channels, external trigger input, a sample rate of 1.0 GS/s on every channel, and a record length of 2.5 K points. The TDS2014 also has optional communication modules, OpenChoice software, and a CompactFlash mass storage function. OpenChoice software gives the user many options to competently document and assess measurement data and move data with ease between the oscilloscope and a PC. This software also has a Windows desktop data transfer application, along with Microsoft Excel and Word Toolbar additions.

The TDS2014 Digital Storage Oscilloscope also has the option to pair with the AFG300 Series arbitrary function generator. With this combination, the product will become a full measurement solution with acquisition and stimulus, the power of an arbitrary waveform generator, and the abilities of a function generator.
