Description
Tektronix TDS7054 Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope
The Tektronix TDS7054 Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope can naturally acquire and show steady waveforms of usable size. Pushing the Autoset button automatically sets the oscilloscope controls in view of the attributes of the input signal. Autoset is considerably quicker and simpler than a manual control-by-control setup. This oscilloscope can also be reset to its factory default settings. The use of input conditioning controls or highlights might be restricted when other control settings are activated. For example, voltage counterbalance is incompatible with reference waveforms, since counterbalance is an acquisition control.
For this model, the user can select the probe or cable that brings the signal into the oscilloscope. They can also pick the probe or cable that best fits their acquisition project, regardless of whether it is associating a dynamic probe to test a computerized circuit, or interfacing with a test fixture through BNC cables to characterize a gadget. The connection with the oscilloscope depends on the application.
This model has up to 4 acquisition channels available. Each channel can be shown as a waveform or can contribute waveform information to different waveforms. The input resistance of each input channel is 1 MΩ. To appropriately terminate signals when utilizing coaxial cables, or to help dynamic tests intended for a 50 Ω condition, a 50 Ω termination resistance can be exchanged in parallel with the 1 M Ω input.
