Description
Keithley 7168 Nanovolt Scanner Card
The Keithley 7168 is a 2-Pole, 8-Channel, Nanovolt Scanner Module Card with less than 30nV of thermal offset. This card is designed to switch any one of its 8 signals to 1 output in <3 ms. The channel offset leakage current remains around 50pA at 23°C. No degradation in the drift and noise performance appears when the model 2182A is used with the Keithley 7168. This model can handle 10V, 50mA maximum signal level and is designed to operate with <12Ω contact resistance.
In this card, the HI to LO contact potential between the channels remains around <30 nV. It comes with a solid state JFET switch contact designed to operate at <3 ms actuation time. The Keithley 7168 operates at 30V common mode voltage and the maximum potential difference (voltage) between any two of its terminals stay around 10V. This scanner module card is offered with one low thermal input cable and eight low thermal input cables for 2182A and 7166 respectively. This model works with an economical -46 dB internal channel crosstalk with 20KΩ terminations at 1 KHz.
The Keithley 7168 is designed to operate in 2 poles per channel contact configuration. Primarily, this model is intended for use with the Keithley 705 scanner. However, it can also be used in another model of scanner, with the 706. The supplied cables with this card have pre-installed lugs for connection to the Keithley 7168 inputs. This scanner card can easily be removed from the scanner mainframe by pulling the two tabs provided, in outward directions.
