    Description

    Item #: 8593E

    Manufacturer: Agilent
    Series: 8590E

8593E by Agilent is a Portable Spectrum Analyzer in the 8590E series. 8593E features a Frequency Accuracy of ±1.2 kHz and a Resolution Bandwidth Range of 30 Hz to 3 MHz (10 Hz nominal).

The HP Agilent 8593E Portable Spectrum Analyzer has the capability of showing relationships between time, power, and frequency with more than 200 built-in measurement features. The HP Agilent 8593E Portable Spectrum Analyzer has a frequency accuracy of ± 1.2 kHz, a resolution bandwidth range of 30 Hz to 3 MHz, an average noise level of -129 dBm (30 Hz-RBW), an amplitude range of -129 dBm to +30 dBm, and a calibrated display range of 70 dB.

This portable spectrum analyzer can be used in field service, installation and signal surveillance, research and development, and manufacturing applications. For the research and development field, the 8593E makes design troubleshooting a much quicker process with built-in one-button measurement patterns, such as adjacent channel power and Third-Order-Intercept. Costs are also reduced and bench space is maximized since the 8593E has noise figure and scalar capabilities, eliminating the necessity of more instruments.

In the manufacturing field, production line throughput will be boosted with this model’s fast measurement speed in automated test systems. Programs can be run from the spectrum analyzer or a PC and testing can be automated by programming the model to complete repetitive measurement tasks.

The field service, installation, and signal surveillance applications also have many benefits from using this spectrum analyzer. Less equipment is needed because of the many multi-performance capabilities which can be added, such as on-screen TV picture or group delay. Test outcomes can be saved in the field on a small, durable, solid state memory card with automated time/date stamps. There are also field accessories, such as an external battery pack, durable front cover, transit case, nylon backpack, and operating/carrying case.
