The Tektronix AWG2000 Series of Arbitrary Waveform Generators has a graphical user interface which enables on-screen viewing of waveform editing and makes “what if” test situations easier. The interface also ensures that generating composite signals is simple. The Tektronix AWG2000 Series can be used with certain Tektronix oscilloscopes because of its direct waveform transfer capability. This series of arbitrary waveform generators has features such as: the formula entry of waveforms, a real-time waveform sequencer to simply generate automated test sequences and elongated patterns, and is completely programmable from the front panel, GPIB, and RS-232 interfaces. There are also various options available for the AWG2000 Series, including a built-in sweep generator (Option 5) and a built-in frequency domain (FFT) editor (Option 9).
