The Tektronix AWG2021 Arbitrary Waveform Generator can simulate signals where moderate point definition and lengthy records are necessary for simulating complicated waveform settings. A direct waveform transfer feature ensures that this model works well with certain Tektronix oscilloscopes.

The AWG2021 has many beneficial features, such as: formula entry of waveforms, direct DSO waveform transfers, a 12-bit vertical resolution, 256 k memory depth, a clock rate of 250 MS/s which delivers up to 125 MHz waveforms, and a real-time waveform sequencer to generate automatic test sequences and extensive patterns with ease. Along with the aforementioned features, the AWG2021 Arbitrary Waveform Generator has a normal configuration with a single 5 V output. However, a second 5 V output can be provided with Option 2 added. Each output will have a 12-bit vertical resolution. The frequency of the second channel can also be programmed on its own.

There are several other options available for the Tektronix AWG2021, which serve to enhance its features and boost the performance. For example, Option 9, a built-in frequency domain (FFT) editor is ideal for users who are completing proprietary or typical modulation simulations, filter designs, or physical layer assessments. Option 4 delivers TTL digital levels with a maximum of two 12-Bit, 100 MS/s ports.
