Description
Anritsu 37297B Vector Network Analyzer
The Anritsu 37297B Vector Network Analyzer is a small portable device that can be used to analyze networks. It measures just 10.5 x 17 x 23 inches and weighs 29 kg (65 lb.). It can test passive devices in the 40 MHz to 65 GHz range. The device has dual IEEE 488.2 ports. This port allows high-speed data transfers.
The Anritsu 37297B can read data at a rate of less than 3 ms per point. But you can also get near real-time updates by using the unique tune mode of the device. This feature allows you to boost the sweep in one direction. This improves the accuracy and allows you to choose when reverse parameters should be updated. The Anritsu 37297B also allows you to control two sources and a receiver. You can adjust the output power and sweep range of the sources and receiver allowing you to test frequency translation devices.
National Instruments’ LabVIEW® instrument driver is installed in each Anritsu 37297B Vector Network Analyzer (VNA). This standard driver allows you to quickly create virtual test environments to test devices. Also, the VNA has an in-built hard disk. This allows you to store the custom test environments for future use. The Anritsu 37297B has four measurement channels. The device allows you to set up two single or segmented limits. The device has a large, color VGA display. You can also attach an external monitor to the network analyzer. The device supports full 12-term, one-path two-port, reflection only, and transmission response error correction models.
